I've been almost every planet fitness in California, every planet fitness in Colorado, every planet fitness in the Phoenix area. Tempe, AZ is my favorite... Or was! This is my new favorite location, it has literally EVERY POSSIBLE AMENITY that could be offered by a planet fitness. No expense has been spared!! Makeup mirrors, hair dryers, (paper towels!) private showers, adjustable massage shower heads, complimentary combination shampoo and body wash pumps, every machine, every massage, every tan, huge quality lockers, the wifi is good and doesn't have streaming restrictions. I honestly had trouble thinking of just one gripe? Uhhhh.. the showers and the toilets are hooked up to the same water pipe?
Nicest staff ever!! So happy to be going to this gym and this location because it's honestly the best! It's always VERY clean! The staff is SO NICE, which makes a HUGE difference! And they have all the equipment I feel you need. Overall best gym I've been to! Love it.
I love Planet Fitness and have been a member in three other locations prior to the South Jordan location. The reason for three stars is that this is the first location that doesn't monitor and control the use of their 30 minute workout machines. I love the 30 minute workout and when people keep coming in and using machines that are not doing the 30 minute workout, it is very disruptful and completely inconsiderate to those of us doing the 30 minute workout. There are other machines that they can and should use. Other locations had this CLEARLY posted and monitored this so that those of us doing the 30 minute workout were not treated disrespectfully. I have actually had to wait in the middle of my workout...so why do they have a special 30 minute workout area if anyone not doing the workout can just bust right in and disrupt us all? Time to get a grip on this problem before this great workout is ruined for all of us!
I really like this gym, I love the low pressure atmosphere and that they have a dress code. It really is a place to work out and not just have people strutting around in inappropriate clothing. The equipment is nice and well maintained and clean.
Crowded on weekends, failry empty on weekdays. Equipment isnt the worst Ive seen most everything Ive needed has been available, including medicine balls. I come in about 5-6pm on weekdays and most racks are free. Only $10 a month so not bad, about typical.
